Wrestling Hangs 10th Individual State Championship Banner

On Wednesday, February 13th, St. Vincent-St. Mary High School unveiled the 2018 138 pound State Championship Wrestling Banner, won by Luke Wymer VM18.  This is our 10th individual title for wrestling in school history and our 57th State Banner over all, since 1972.   To view a video of the unveiling, visit our facebook page

Below is pertinent info on winter sports tournament play: Girls Bowling: eliminated in Sectional Tournament Boys Bowling: Sectional Champions.  Advance to District Tournament on Monday, Feb. 18 at 12pm at Buckeye Lanes in North Olmsted. Gymnastics: Sectional Tournament begins Monday, Feb. 18th at 10am at West Geauga High School Wrestling: Sectional Tournament begins Saturday, Feb.

Wrestling Heads to OHSAA State Team Duals Saturday Feb. 2nd

Good luck to our Wrestling Team who travel to Perry HS (Lake County) for the OHSAA State Duals this Saturday, February 2nd.  Wrestling starts at 9 AM, but they have a first round bye, therefore, they will not wrestle until approximately 10am.

STVM Wrestler, Jake Potok, Commits to Lake Erie College

Jake Potok, STVM Senior Wrestler, has made a college commitment to continue his academic and wrestling career at Lake Erie College.  Jake is a 2 time State Qualifier, he is a current team captain, and has a 3.7 GPA.  Congrats Jake!

Luke Wymer Wins Wrestling State Championship (#138), Others Place

Congratulations to STVM Senior, Luke Wymer, who won the 138 pound State Championship in Columbus this past weekend! Luke is a 4 time sectional and district champion. Five St. Vincent-St. Mary High School wrestlers advanced to the Ohio High School Athletic Association Division 2 State Wrestling tournament this coming weekend by finishing in the top four in their respective weight classes at the Alliance Division 2 District Tournament on Saturday.  We will have a State Send Off Assembly for our wrestlers this

10 Irish Wrestlers Advance to District Tournament

On Saturday, February 24, ten Irish wrestlers kept their post season alive and punched their ticket to the District Tournament to be held at Alliance High School on Friday and Saturday, March 2 and 3. The Irish finished third as a team with 187.5 points, behind first place CVCA (218.5) and second place Woodridge (191.5).
