FIVE STVM Wrestlers Excel at State: Five Qualify, Four Place

Congratulations to our FIVE wrestlers, led by Head Coach, Harry Lester, who excelled at the OHSAA DII State Championships over the weekend. Five wrestlers qualified, four placed.  Below are the results for State: Jake Potok- finished 5th (145 pounds) Hunter Olson- finished 7th (138 pounds) Dierre Clayton- finished 5th (113 pounds) Kenny Crosby- finished 2nd

Five Wrestlers Advance to State Tournament!

Congratulations to our 5 Wrestling and 1 Alternate who have qualified for the OHSAA State Tournament!  Wrestling begins Thursday, March 7th at 3:00pm at the Jerome Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio. STVM Wrestling Set to Host DII Wrestling Sectional Tournament

This Saturday, Feb. 23, STVM Wrestling will host the DII OHSAA Wrestling Sectional Tournament here in our LeBron James Arena. Wrestling will begin around 9:30am. Wrestling Hangs 14th Individual State Championship Banner

On Wednesday, February 13th, St. Vincent-St. Mary High School unveiled the 2018 138 pound State Championship Wrestling Banner, won by Luke Wymer VM18.  This is our 14th individual title for wrestling in school history and our 57th State Banner over all, since 1972.   To view a video of the unveiling, visit our facebook page

Winter Sports Tournament Info

Below is pertinent info on winter sports tournament play: Girls Bowling: eliminated in Sectional Tournament Boys Bowling: Sectional Champions.  Advance to District Tournament, finished 13th, eliminated from tournament. Gymnastics: team eliminated in Sectionals.  Cece Walter advanced to District tournament. Wrestling: Placed 2nd at Sectionals. 10 out of 11 advance to District Tournament, Saturday, March 1st at 3:00pm.

Wrestling Heads to OHSAA State Team Duals Saturday Feb. 2nd

Good luck to our Wrestling Team who travel to Perry HS (Lake County) for the OHSAA State Duals this Saturday, February 2nd.  Wrestling starts at 9 AM, but they have a first round bye, therefore, they will not wrestle until approximately 10am.
