St. Vincent-St. Mary High School is proud to announce the hiring of a new Boys Lacrosse Coach, effective immediately. STVM has hired Ryan Drought. Coach Drought is a 2009 Hudson High School alum and has been a high school assistant coach for the last four years. He spent two years at Whitney Young High School in Chicago IL, as the Defensive Assistant (2016-2018), one year at Collins Hill High school in Suwanee GA, as the Defensive Coordinator (2015-2016) and one year at Peachtree Ridge High school as an Assistant coach (2014-2015).
In high school he played for the Explorers all four years and went on to play at Carthage College. Coach Drought spent a year there before suffering a career ending injury which allowed him to transfer back to Ohio State University where he began his coaching career and played club Lacrosse.
Coach Drought has a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from The Ohio State University in 2014. He is looking forward to continue to build from previous years and create a successful lacrosse team for years to come.
