Boys Varsity Football · Two STVM Football Players Commit to Colleges During Regular Signing Period


Congratulations to STVM Seniors Cameron Ervin, University of Toledo, and Zachary Olson, University of Chicago, on committing to colleges to continue their football careers during the regular signing period.  Below is press release on the signing this morning.

We will have the rest of the Class of 2018 sign in May.

On Thursday, February 8th, we are recognized two members of the senior class who has made an athletic commitment to continue their career on the collegiate level next year.  Today, we have two senior football players committing during the regular signing period. 

  1. Cameron Ervin is a three year letterman and a three year starter on the varsity football team. Cameron has spent his career on the offensive line for the Fighting Irish.  Cameron is the 2017 Provie Tomei VM75/John “Joe” Nist M50 Award- lifter of the year award winner. Cameron was a member of the 2017 State Semi Finalist Team, 2016 Regional Semi Finalist Team, 2015 Regional Finalist Team, and the 2014 State Semi Finalist Team. Cameron is committing to The University of Toledo, where he will continue his football career.
  2. Zachary Olson is a two year letterman on the varsity football team.  Zachary Olson started at wide receiver in 2017 for the Fighting Irish. Zachary has 39 receptions for his career, in which 38 happened in 2017.  Zach is the 2017 LeBron James VM 03 Best Wide Receiver Award Winner, 2017 Most Improved Player Award Winner, Eddie Wentz Offensive MVP Award Winner. Zach was also a 2017 All-Ohio Selection and an All District Selection. Zach was a member of the 2017 State Semi Finalist Team, 2016 Regional Semi Finalist Team, 2015 Regional Finalist Team, and the 2014 State Semi Finalist Team.Zach is committing to The University of Chicago, where he will continue his football career.
