On Monday, February, 5, 2018, St. Vincent-St. Mary High School senior girls basketball player, Faith Williams, made 10 three pointers in the Irish 69-33 victory over Walsh Jesuit. Faith beat her previous record and sets a new girls school record for most three pointers made in a game at 10. The Irish are now 15-5 on the season and play Archbishop Hoban at Hoban this Wednesday, 2/7/18.
On December 6, 2017. Faith broke the single game girls record for most three pointers made in a game. The previous record was 7, Faith sank 8, going 8-8 from the three point line. On January 20, 2018, Faith then set the girls career record for most three pointers made in a season, which was 41 made by Shannon Jack in 2011-2012.
To date, Faith has made 67 three point field goals on the season. She holds two school records, stated above. The boys record for most three pointers in game is held by LeBron James with 11 in one game. The boys record for most three pointers made in a season is by Joe Burdon with 71. Faith is only 4 away from being the overall school leader in three point field goals for a single season.
