A huge thank you goes to Mary O’Connor who volunteered to be at the second site at Linden Park to supervise the doubles teams and make sure that they arrived at their matches on time! She did an excellent job!

Natalie Isaacs defeated Olivia Meehan from Woodridge High School 7-5, 6-3 in a very hard fought match. In the second round Natalie was defeated by one of the best players in the State of Ohio and the number two seed in the tournament, Maddie Lynch from Hathaway Brown High School 6-0, 6-0.
Allison Tomaszewski received a bye in the first round. In the second round, Allison defeated Amanda Desamito from Beaumont High School 6-4, 6-4. In the third round, Allison defeated Nina Lazbin from Revere High School 6-1, 6-1 sending her into the quarterfinals. In the quarterfinal match Allison played the best tennis match of the day but was defeated by the State of Ohio runner-up last year and the number one seed of the tournament, Nicole Gillinov from Hathaway Brown High School 6-0, 6-0.
Caroline Pier received a bye in the first round. In the second round, Caroline defeated Madeline Drushell from Revere High School 6-0, 6-1. In the third round, Caroline defeated Juliana Rowane from Beaumont High School 6-1, 6-3 sending her into the quarterfinals. In the quarterfinal match Caroline was defeated by the number one player from Lake Ridge Academy High School Ali Cui 6-1, 6-1.
Kirstin Pier and Maddie McSteen defeated Macie Boehm and Paige Flatley from Elyria Catholic High School 6-3, 6-4 in the first round. In the second round Kirstin and Maddie were defeated by one of the best doubles teams in the State of Ohio and the number one seed in the tournament, Isabella Daverio and Rebecca Wolf from Hathaway Brown High School 6-0, 6-0.
Maura O’Connor and Ada Wyszynski defeated Elzada Alvaranga and Destiny Hunter from Beaumont High School 6-0, 6-2. In the second round Maura and Ada were defeated by Abby Knetig and Amanda Shao from Laurel High School 6-2, 7-5 in a very hard fought match.
